Sometimes there are special arrival requirements that aren't readily obvious how to model. A single entity or entity batch arrives just once during the simulation, perhaps at the beginning or at some specified time into the simulation. For example: An assembly line has 200 containers that are to be modeled as entities since they get routed and stored much like entities. These containers start out in a Container Storage buffer.
